About the position:
The Accounting Manager's main responsibility is to contribute to making sure decision makers of the Group receive timely, complete, accurate reports and financial analysis so that decisions can be made in the pursuit of reaching Norrøna’s goals. The role will also be central in making good and efficient processes, including automating tasks, within the department.
You will be reporting to the CFO.
Main areas of responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities subject to the position are set out, but not limited, to the paragraphs below:

Ensure financial accuracy, control and timely reporting (monthly and annually) across the following group of companies;
- Norrøna Retail AS - 31 own controlled stores in Norway (21), Sweden (4), Finland (1), Germany (1), Switzerland (1), US (3)
- Norrøna Adventure AS (our own travel and adventure business),
- Norrona Factory UAB (our own factory in Lithuania), and
- Norrona Sport Inc (US retail and wholesale business).
- Follow-up our external accounting offices in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Lithuania and the US
- Oversee tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns, and liaise with external auditors.
- Consolidation of financial statements to the various reporting units
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Monitoring accounts receivable and debt collection
Qualifications:
- Higher degree in accounting, finance or audit, minimum bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience from similar positions or as an auditor++
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, in particular NGAAP, and consolidation
- Excellent competence in using Excel and / or Google sheets (pivot tables, filters etc.)
- Fluent in Norwegian and English - both written and oral
