The core focus of this role is developing brand strategies for our premium product portfolio, implementing and controlling branding activities to grow the brand equity, increase market penetration and profitability for our premium brands. This new position will be part of the marketing team and it reports to our Head of Marketing.
Duties of the Brand Manager include:
- Developing research based brand strategies for our premium products, that will garner emotional responses leading to brand loyalty
- Implementing, coordinating the brand strategies and propose activation plan with inputs from Scientific, Sales, Product Management and Marketing
- Ensuring that branding and brand messaging are consistent with the Brand CI and marketing strategy
- Responsible for the global launch of brands, including development of strong global and local launch strategies
- Developing, implementing new B2B & B2C, 360 degree campaigns and promotional initiatives, aligned with commercial needs of international and domestic sales
- Developing of multi-channel marketing materials
- Supporting local implementation and tracking of brand marketing initiatives
- Forecast, monitor brand KPIs, manage budget, track ROI measurements for branding activities in order to achieve or exceed brand targets
- Controlling the brand marketing costs
- Managing market research and competitor analysis
Requirements of the role:
- BA or MA degree in marketing or in health sciences (advantage: degree in medicine or pharmacy)
- 3-5 years in Brand Manager roles with proven track record (medical device and/or pharmacy sectors are preffered)
- Relevant experience with proven track record of success in branding within medical device or similar industry
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is a must
- Understanding of brand plannning process, positioning, forecasting, budgeting, market research, omnichannel communication with more B2B and less B2C focus
- Management of more brands in parallel
- Ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic branding actions
- Solid working knowledge of healthcare environment and evolving landscape
- Deep understanding of strategic-tactical branding principles and techniques including digital knowledge
- Creativity and ability to lead initiatives in a changing international environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
