Mō tēnei tūrangi mahi | About this roleReporting to the Manager Financial Operations the purpose of the FMIS (Financial Management Information Systems) Administrator is to ensure the integrity and reliability of the FMIS, working alongside the FMIS Systems Accountant. The role operates within the Financial Operations Team which is responsible for the Ministry's financial external and financial reporting, development and maintenance of the financial management information systems and internal control policies and procedures. The team is also responsible for effective and accurate financial processing, accounting and financial applications development and support across the Ministry.

- Commitment to developing your cultural capability and capacity in te ao Māori
- Experience with Financial Systems (Technology One Financials is desirable)
- Excellent data entry skills
- Ability to work with quantitative data.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices including accounts payable and budgeting and forecasting.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workflows
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
Salary range for this role is $67,231 to $81,282 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
