The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Pharma, Chemistry, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Life Sciences, and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in R&D, Quality Inspection, and Process Monitoring, where customers put a premium on accuracy, robustness, reliability and ease of use. CAD is a complex division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.
The Materials Characterization business includes Rheology and Extrusion and is a part of the Production, Process, and Analytics business unit (PPA).

Within our Materials Characterization DACH team we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative as a pro-active territory manager in North-Eastern Germany.

What you will do:
- Represent our company in a positive, professional manner in all dealing with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.
- Conduct and support product presentations and test measurements at our customers sites, Thermo Fisher labs, or online
- Actively manage your funnel of sales opportunities by CRM compliance and sales forecast calls
- Own the sales process from pre- to after-sales support and build strong, long term relationships with your customers
- Participate on trade fairs, workshops, and related events
- Report market trends and customer requirements into the organization
How you will get here:
Education
- Bachelor or university degree in chemistry, physics, or related field
Experience
- Working experience in industrial B2B field sales is a must
- Working experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry or laboratory equipment business is highly desired
- Additional experiences with SFDC are an asset
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of Materials Sciences, preferably with Rheology and/or Extrusion techniques
- Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral in German language; fluency in business English
- Ability to work optimally with customers and colleagues in a challenging and demanding market
- Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional attitude
- Pro-active attitude and hands-on mentality
- Willingness to travel in the region
- (appr. 50%)
- Valid driver's license
