Job Description
Team and Role Introduction:
Conducting Inbound, Sorting and Outbound activity in Hub. Responsible on handling all inbound shipments to hub, make sorting on size, satellites and couriers area. And reporting to all activity in sorter area to Leader and responsible on all equipment in Hub.
Responsibilities:
Role scope includes the following:
1. Perform sorting activities (Pre-sort and Fine-sort) and make sure every parcel placed on the proper area, rack, bin, etc.
2. Verify the quantity of loose parcels and mobile units as per Linehaul Runsheet prior to perform LOP Linehaul Runsheet check-in.
3. Unload and perform LOP Linehaul Runsheet check-in for all loose parcels and mobile units using their own specific LOP account credentials.
4. Mobile Units for Satellite are segregated after LOP Linehaul Runsheet check-in, staged for transfer to Satellite.
5. Review customer address on parcels inbounded during the Sorting process to identify if the address is within hub’s coverage, legible, complete and has a valid destination.
6. Segregate inbound exception parcels identified during pre-sort and fine sorting process, into designated exception bins e.g. Wrong Address, Miscode, Miss-sort etc and doing log. event/event capture on LOP no later than 12:00 PM on daily basis.
7. Making sure that all courier has a fair number of parcels assignment.
8. Handover parcels for dispatching according to FIFO and all parcels are dispatched by 9am daily.
9. Performing cycle count and visual review of physical backlog parcels on Hub floor to ensure each parcel is reconciled to the daily Aging.
10. All activities have to be compliance with procedures, safety and done with discipline manner
11. Escalate and report any deviation to Supervisor and Hub Manager
