Your responsibilities will include:
We are looking for a qualified CoF Inspector to join our busy Vehicle Servicing team in Linton. You will be primarily responsible for conducting CoF inspections and maintaining the appropriate NZTA documentation for the fleet of vehicles Lockheed Martin manage on behalf of our client the New Zealand Defence Force.
Although Inspection is the primary focus of this role, flexibility is a key element as you may be required to assist with CoF’s in other areas of our business or pick up the tools from time to time too.

About you:
To be successful in this role the skills and abilities required include (but are not limited to) the following:
- NZQA Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel
- Proven experience in heavy diesel mechanical and electrical repairs and servicing
- COF Certified
- NZ Drivers Class – class 4 or 5 heavy vehicle licences would be an advantage
- A good team player who can communicate at all levels
- Have the ability to self-manage and work unsupervised
Special Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. See minimum criteria below:
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
- a NZ citizen who has resided continuously in this country for the last 5 years, OR
- is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 5 years: either Australia, Canada, NZ, UK or the USA; and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the NZSIS
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
