The Purpose of the role :
The Credit Manager oversees the execution of credit management and collection processes and is accountable for the overdue, bad debts and commercial losses results. The role may also be responsible for establishing and executing the set of financial controls over such commercial areas as management of bonuses & discounts, commercial assets, upfront commercial investments, and others.
The role:
- Improve the level of overdue and commercial losses in respective businesses
- Approve credit limits for new and existing customers according to the matrix
- Approve release of orders in case of overdue and credit limit overrun according to the matrix
- Ensure the efficient and compliant process of bad debt management is implemented
- Participate in face-to-face meetings with customers and Sales to mitigate risk and/or to align win-win partnerships to ensure improved Core Working Capital.
- Develop the credit management strategy in partnership with Sales teams
Who we’re looking for:
- University Degree – Master Degree in Business Studies or Finance
- Understanding of Credit management, Risk Analysis, Control and Customer relationship management
- Experience in risk & control (risk manager, internal auditor, external auditor…), Sales and credit management processes
- Excellent SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
