We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Officer to perform daily preventative maintenance checks, assist with proactive duties to ensure maintenance upkeep and adhoc requests. Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of working area, Facilities premises, and equipment.
- Ensure generators and other facilities mechanisms are always in working condition
- Operate power tools and equipment with consideration for Personal safety and of others.
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
- Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
- Ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
- Make optimal use of materials without wastage.
- Repair furnishings and appliances.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Ad hoc and general Maintenance Officer duties to improve the daily functioning of the facilities daily.
- Always comply with Occupational Health and Safety
- Perform any other maintenance duties as may be expected by management.

Qualifications
- Matric,
- Must have a minimum of a Degree/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in electrical, mechanical and other related field
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Experience troubleshooting and correcting electrical or mechanical problems, maintaining inventory levels and scheduling work as well as specific experience in plumbing is required
- Remote site experience is preferred.
- Valid drivers licence ( PDP is advantageous ).
