Officer Aircraft Services (Ground Support Equipment)Reports To

Role Purpose
Execute purchasing management by planning and supplying materials to support GSE Maintenance activities in KLIA and the line stations.
Key Accountability
- Ensure availability of sufficient spares and services, else initiate purchase by issuance of Purchase Requisition (PR) and perform Good Receive Note (GRN) for timely turnaround of ground support equipment and other services at KLIA and domestic stations.
- Plan, review and action stock level of GSE Fast Moving and Must Stock Items base on the recommended spares parts listing for specialized equipment.
- Monitor Discrepancy Report (DR) with workshop and Group Procurement on variance or damage items for replacement.
- Prepare monthly report on all fire extinguisher. Liaise with Workshop and Group Procurement for re-fill and replace if necessary.
- Update/revise inventory level for purchasing purpose. Review listing of non-moving, on movement stock of GSE spares. Identify and highlight non-moving, redundant or surplus inventory system.
- Carry out any other duties/assignments as directed by the superior from time to time.
- Ensure high standard of quality, safety, security, health and environment at all times.
- Continuously adhere to and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the obligations detailed in the Workplace Health and Safety Act and AeroDarat policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and secure operation within the airside environment by complying with all procedures.
- Carry out Aviation SMS responsibilities and ensuring that all actions are in line with relevant regulations and SOPs.
- Comply with induction and training of AeroDarat Workplace Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures.
- Identify, report and control any risks recognised within the workplace.
- Participate in team meetings as a means of obtaining information, identifying procedural problems, safety and security issues and areas of focus for continuous improvement.
- Report all incidents / accidents immediately to direct superior.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- SPM with minimum 0-2 years working experience in Ground Equipment related area.
- Required to attend all regulatory, mandatory and functional training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM).
Skills & Knowledge
- Good command of writing and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge in MS Office application and PC literate.
