Job description
Department: Global IT Team (Base in Taiwan) Reports To: Software Team Leader Reasonable Accommodation Essential duties, responsibilities, and qualifications of the job can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to him/her self or others. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Design and engineer REST API technical solutions backed by proper unit tests 2. Provide Tier III support in all phases of SDLC for the global software team based on designated area of expertise 3. Investigate, troubleshoot and remediate any software related issues 4. Adhere to software development and coding standards 5. Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures 6. Participate in design and code reviews, recommending improvements 7. Work with other Engineers in Executing assigned tasks within Deadlines 8. Performs other duties as assigned or needed
Requirement
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Master’s degree is preferred 2. Around 3 years of progressively responsible system engineering experience 3. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English. 4. Ability to work and communication with team members around the world to solve problems 5. Experience in building and maintaining REST APIs (HTTP, SML, JSON) 6. Understanding of Object Oriented principles and design 7. Agile methodology knowledge and experience 8. Experience in C#, design concepts, patterns and coding standards 9. Experience with relational database such as Oracle or SQL
